Curtains? Curtains!

I saw something floating around like this on Pinterest a while back. I never pinned it, because I never thought twice about it.
But I certainly am now.

If you remember my Monday Deals and Steals post a while back, I mentioned that I bought a panel of curtains on clearance.
I wasn't sure where I would put them, but when I went to the store to see if they had another one, I decided I would put them in the kitchen if I kept them.
They also had a sheer panel in the same color as the background (on clearance!), which is what we're wanting to do with our sliding glass door.
Perfect!

As I was perusing Target, looking to see if there was anything good on clearance (what else is new, right?), I came across some tablecloths.
They were in such pretty prints, but I knew we'd hardly ever use a tablecloth.
Then I got to thinking...
What if I could find a way to turn them into curtains! And they would be so much cheaper than buying curtains, even if I had to buy something to line them.

SO, I picked up these beauties:

For our Bedroom, I'm wanting to do yellow and grey for the color scheme.
So I got these to go in there...

And I kid you not, I had no idea the yellow and grey pattern I picked out was already floating around on Pinterest.
Meant. to. be.

I got these for the Living Room since I'm wanting to do Navy and White....

And then I got this one for the Office.
It's not quite a turquoise blue, but I think it'll still work.
Thoughts?

And here are the curtains I bought to line the tablecloths with.
On clearance. $10 for a set of two.
No big deal.

And guess how much each tablecloth was?
$12!
Which means, I'll have spent less than $100 on 3 rooms for the tablecloths and lining.
The actual curtains on clearance were $17 a piece, regularly priced at $25-$30. Plus the $4 sheer curtain, so the window alone in our kitchen was $38.
Cheaper to do tablecloths as curtains, with prettier prints?
Oh yea.

And if you don't believe me about the pin...

Well there ya go! Same exact ones. :)

Now I feel like the decor/our home will come together.
All I have left to do is enlist the help of my Mom who owns a sewing machine....

Love to you.
