Before I get on to my Monday Deals and Steals post, I have a decor question for you lovely ladies.
For our master bath, our tub and our shower are right across from one another. And naturally, I'd like to have a rug for each one to step out on after using.
I found a rug that I absolutely adore at Target. It's perfect and exactly what I was looking for!
Problem is, I have no idea if it looks ok, them being across from one another like so...
What do you think? Does that look ok?
I initially was trying to find a thinner one for the bath that wasn't quite so big but I couldn't find one that I liked or even at all. And then when I saw this one at Target the other day, I had to have it.

Now, on to a Monday Deals and Steals post on an actual Monday. First since last year! ;)
Only a few items again this time I'm afraid though.
Guess you can say that I am quite stocked up.
Not like those hoarders girls on Extreme Couponer's....
Enough to be sufficient for quite a while though.
Here is what I got at Target.
- Gold 'n Plump 4pk chicken drumsticks. On sale. Had a $1.00 off Target coupon attached.
Original price: $2.99 each. Total cost: $1.49 each!
Note: Whenever I go to Target, I'll see if that chicken is on sale or if it'll have a coupon attached - it's all natural chicken. Whenever the coupon is attached like that on the pouch, it means the sell by date is in the next day or two. I've done this the past several times and the chicken has been absolutely fine. Just be sure and freeze it when you get home. It may have a smell to it (some do, some don't), but if you cook it thoroughly, it'll be perfect. We haven't had any problems with it (yet anyway, and trust me, I have an easily upset stomach).
- Kashi Go Lean cereal. On sale. Had two different manufacturer coupons, $1.00 off Cinnamon Crumble, $1.00 off any Go Lean cereal. Also had a Target coupon for $0.50 off two Kashi purchases.
Original price: $7.28 for both. Total cost: $3.48 for both!
- Archer Farms Simply Balanced Bread. On sale. Had a Target coupon for $0.50 off.
Original price: $2.79 Total cost: $1.95
- Sara Lee bread. On sale. Had a Target coupon for $1.00 off two.
Original price: $2.29 each. Total cost: $1.65 each!
I saved $10.42 at Target!
Now, I'm going to go enjoy my day off school before I have to go back...

OMG I adore your rugs. Seriously, so cute! I think they look great! I'm weird about rug placement as well...I need to revamp my master/guest bath rugs. When we initially moved in we were spending so much money on everything I just got the cheap-ey rugs. It's time for something a little nicer now!

I think those rugs look great! They're so cute! And I think they look just fine across from one another. There is plenty of space between them. :) Good pick!
