About Me

Hi! My name is Kristen and thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm a Christian who is 25 years old who comes from the great state of Kansas. I married my wonderful husband on October 10, 2010 and I could not have married a better guy, he makes me a better person and I'm thankful for him daily. I love being a housewife when I'm not in school and I just love cooking and decorating a place of our own (note: not cleaning).

I am also a pet parent to Sammy, our Australian Shepherd mix. And don't let his cuteness get to you, he is the most sassy dog I have ever met. He definitely has a mind of his own and while he is still a puppy (currently 2 years) that loves to play, he knows when to be sweet, and get what he wants.

I am also a student (still) working on my Bachelor's in Biology with an emphasis in Biomedical/Cellular. I thankfully will be graduating in the Spring of 2012. I'd love to work in a lab some day but ultimately, I would love to work in Microbiology. I find it so fascinating!

My family and friends mean the world to me and I don't know what I would do without them. I am so blessed to have them in my life and I would do anything for them.

I may be from the city but I know how to enjoy the smaller things in life.  I enjoy all things yellow and I love a good book - still unsure on the whole digital book thing. God knows I am not perfect but I strive to be like Him every day, which is a challenge in itself.
